Independent SEAD Study
Personalized, site-based, experiential and real-time learning helps learners make meaning of SEL within their respective roles and achieve specific goals. This independent study allows participants to gain SEL knowledge while putting it into practice, observing and reflecting on their experiences, and then modifying SEL strategies to increase effectiveness. This 45-hour educational experience supports participants with progressive SEL habit-stacking and guided by on-going support from a SEAD Professor and tailored resources. After successful completion, participants will have earned an AF Certificate of Completion worth 3 course credits from Western Nevada College. Participants can email their transcript record to their employer for up to 24 Continuing Education Units.
